Why Do We Worship:

God?
Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'”  (Matthew. 4:10)

Why Are Musical Instruments a Part of the Worship Service?
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.  (Psalm 150:3-5)

Why Do We Stand To Sing?
After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.  And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”  (Revelation 7:9-10)

Why Do We Lift Our Hands?
I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.  (I Timothy 2:8)

Why Do We Have Audible Praise Unto God?
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise — the fruit of lips that confess his name.  (Hebrews 13:15)

Why Do We Sing Choruses as Well as Hymns?
Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery.  Instead, be filled with the Spirit.  Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs.  Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord.  (Ephesians 5:18-19)

What is Prophecy and Why Do We Prophesy?
But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort.  (I Corinthians 14:3)

Why Do We Sing in Tongues and in English?
For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful.  So what shall I do?  I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind.  (I Corinthians 14-15)

Why Do We Have Speaking in Unknown Tongues and the Interpretation In The Church?
Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.  To another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.  (I Corinthians 12:7,10b)

Why Does the Whole Church Pray as One For Specific Needs?
When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God.  “Sovereign Lord,” they said, “you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them.”  (Acts 4:24)

Dancing?
“Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old men together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.”  (Jerehmiah 31:13)
“Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing.”  (Luke 15:25)

Why Do We Receive Tithes and Offerings?
“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith saith the Lord of Hosts if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”  (Malachiah 3:10)
“Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.  For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”  (Luke 6:38)
